Thanks to our kind neighbours, relatives and friends who called to our homes, those who called to the Funeral Home and attended the removal and the funeral Mass. Thanks to those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and floral tributes. A special word of thanks to the Doctors and Staff of Cavan General Hospital and St. Josephs Nursing Home for their care and attention during his illness. Thanks to the Palliative Care and support team and to those who provided home help, their dedication was very much appreciated. Our thanks also to the Hospital Chaplain Fr. Martin Gilcrest, Fr. Tom Mannion for his prayers in the Funeral Home and to Fr. Gerard Cassidy for his help and support and beautiful homily at the Funeral Mass. The Family also want to thank the Funeral Undertaker John McMahon for the friendly and professional manner in which he carried out the funeral arrangements. We appreciate the wonderful Guard of Honour provided by Cavan Comhairle Ceanntair Sinn Fein and by Ballyhaise G. F.C. A special thanks to Cllr. Pauline McCauley for her graveside oration and tribute to Brian. Thanks also to the McCaul Brothers for their music in the church and to Sean Kelly, Piper, who performed at the removal and Funeral Ceremonies. Thanks to the Garda Siochana and to the stewards at Castletara church for their help in regulating traffic at the removal and funeral. We wish to thank the Hotel Kilmore who provided refreshments following the Funeral. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we wish to thank all who helped us in anyway and we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. The Months Memory Mass will be offered up on Tuesday Evening 7 th. February at 7 o'clock in St. Patrick's Church, Castletara.
