Dear Tanya, Shelley, and family,
We were saddened to learn that your much loved father has passed away. May you be comforted by knowing that he made a huge difference in many people's lives, the donation of a renal dialysis bus being only the latest of his big hearted gestures. What a wonderful note to 'end well' on! May your precious memories of his courage, compassion, humour, and especially his deep love for you bring you comfort and peace. Blessings and love, Carol Ann and Bill Armstrong

I first met Brian Elkow at my brother Brian Testo's place in Peers. Brain Testo and I were talking about how great it was on Jan 13 that your Brian had been so involved in getting the portable dialylis van to Whitecourt and Hinton (where I live). You should
be proud that you have someone who cared about others as much as your Brian did. Sorry about your loss. We lost our father Jim Testo on Jan 20/04 and it still hard to let go!

Tanya and Shelley, may I express my profound sorrow in the loss of your father, Brian. He and I started grade one in the Musidora country school, the only two in our grade, and spent many years growing up in that small community. It was some 45 years later that we saw each other for the first time at your mother's funeral in Edmonton. I am so very glad to have had this brief visit with him after so many years. May your present sadness turn to happy memories one day soon. Judy Kendel

I knew Brian during the late 60's and throughout the 70's.We were business associates and spent many long hours throughout those years at our favorite restaurants and watering holes sharing stories and just plain enjoying each others company.I always very much admired Brian's entrpreneurial spirit and dedication to his business. My sympathy goes out to you his family.

It was truly a pleasure to meet Brian during the Dialysis Bus event. The smile on his face of pure joy when he got on the bus, was a memory I will always have. It humbles me that he was able to see the complete project, before his passing. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
