GARDINER. - Brian. Born June 12, 1937, Port Melbourne Died May 4, 2012, Prahran. Passed away peacefully in his sleep after a courageous battle with alzheimers. Loving husband to Joan (nee Conlon, m 1966). Beloved father of Martin, James and Richard. Father-in-law to Melinda, Julianne, and Sally. Adored grandfather of Astrid, Sienna, Jaeda, Millie, and Grace. Brother to Jack and brother-in- law to Margaret, Henry, Michael, John, Charles, and Jenny. A clever and hardworking man whose gifts allowed him to successfully establish and run Portaloo. Lover of dogs he adored his walks with Henry, Sandy, Bear, Trog, Gillie, Kramer, Cosmo and the legendary Shadow. His cheeky sense of humour and his generous spirit will be missed.
