Brian was the nicest person. He was a great listener and loved to talk about traveling and cars. We would often times sit either in the stands or sidelines as his niece Marissa and my daughter Alyssa would play on the same teams together for over a decade. I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with Brian when I would see him. His kind gentle soul will be forever missed.

Brian was my college roommate at UCLA for a time. He saved me from a predicament at the time and made the rest of the year a memorable one -- full of life and fun. His legacy has always been that of generosity - of time, resources, and kindness. My heartfelt condolences to his loved ones.

It´s hard to remember which classes I *didn´t* have with Brian in middle school. He was my date to more than a couple school dances and our interests overlapped in many ways in studies and love of tennis. Brian´s smile, joking, caring, and honesty will always hold a special place in my heart. Condolences to all his family and friends.

When I joined NETSCOUT, Brian transferred to me the responsibility of partner management, and from the very beginning, he was incredibly supportive, patient, and always attentive to every detail. His kindness and dedication made a lasting impact on me and everyone around him. Brian will be deeply missed, and his legacy will remain with us always.

Friends since Jr high Brian often let me know when he was in DC. One time he didn´t tell me but by chance we ran into each other after he was leaving a museum and I was returning from a Women´s March. We always chatted about our international travels- most recently we both went separately to the European Christmas markets last year at the same time. The last time I saw him was a year ago when he literally flew in and out of DC the same day to reach 950K frequent flyer miles. Per his obituary I´m so happy he finally hit the million. Rest in Peace friend.

Brian and I attended Washington Junior High in Salinas, CA. We became close friends when we had journalism class together. I even saw my first ever concert with him: The Cover Girls during the summer of 1988, before our first year of high school. He went to Salinas High and I attended North High. We periodically kept in touched, and the last I saw him was when we had lunch in Mountain View at a Chinese restaurant in 2013.

Rest in Paradise sweet Brian...

I remember playing Brian and I playing with his Legos. His elaborate castles and my tall 2 Lego tower. We had fun. Haven't thought about that in a very long time. You are missed my friend

Rest in peace dear dear Brian. You were one rare human being in your short life on earth, and even now you continue to bring so many people together and have helped to build so many new relationships- what an amazing soul you are!

I miss you every day as a friend, colleague, and team member at Pure Storage. But I also know that loving souls like you never die- you will stay on in the hearts, smiles, thoughts, and discussions of the thousands of lives you touched.

Brian took over my role at NetScout when I left for Cisco, and then eventually made his way to Cisco where we worked together over the years. He was kind and funny and I am stunned to hear of his death. He was so full of life. My condolences to his family.

One of my first tennis matches in the US was with Brian. Since then, we played countless times. He used to have low shots; I was the opposite: high balls with topspin. Games were always tough for him, and I found it challenging to play against his style. But in the end, we would always shake hands and have some fun. I will miss seeing him in the courts.
