Brian Griffiths Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 26, 2010.
GRIFFITHS, Brian Passed peacefully to be with the Lord whom he had walked beside for many years. Brian's journey here was completed in the presence of loving family and friends on June 22, 2010 at the age of 74. "Braveheart", best friend and beloved husband of Helen (nee Bremner) for 42 years. Loving father and mentor to Adrian Griffiths in Windsor. Dear brother of Eileen Hirons in England and Linda Eccleshall in Oshawa. Loving brother-in-law of James Bremner and Christine in Scotland and Stuart Bremner and Carole in England. Cherished by many nieces and nephews and their children. Sadly missed by many close friends in Windsor, especially Frank and Colleen Bourner, who were there for him at all hours during his brief battle with cancer. Brian and Helen came to Windsor from England in 1970 and he was employed as a managing engineer in the Special Products Dept. of Chrysler Canada until his retirement in 2000. Brian was an active member of Heritage Park Alliance Church. Full of energy, creativity and a passion to serve God in everything, without thought of reward-at work, at home or in his long and fruitful ministry to others. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Brian's life will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support Youth Ministries at Heritage Park Alliance Church. Arrangements entrusted to FAMILIES FIRST 3260 DOUGALL AVE. South Windsor 519-969-5841 Share memories or make a charitable donation online at FamiliesFirst.ca

Sorry to hear of your loss. I always admired how you and Mr. Griffiths would dance so gracefully - like it was effortless. I hope you find peace and strength in your memories.

More than a Brother-in-Law, Brian was a Brother beloved especially to me. A man of deep spirituality, great personal integrity, infinite wisdom and strength. Though sadly missed he will never be forgotten.
