McDERMOTT (Brian Jarlath) Castlemore, Ballagahderreen, Co Roscommon and of Annaghbeg, Neagh, Co Tipperary. The family of the late Brian Mc Dermott would like to thank the wonderful neighbours, friends and family, who came to Aine and Michael's home the night Brian suddenly passed away. We would like to thank the emergency services and Gardaí for their professionalism and also Fr Joe Gavigan who performed the last rigthts over Brian. All of you provided the family with much needed comfort on that sad night. A big thanks to Tommy Sharkey funeral Directors for the dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. To our friends and neighbours and family who became a team of bakers, cleaners, childminders, and the tea makers. You came to Aine and Michael's rescue over those days, we will never be able thank you all enough for your hard work and support. To the men who organised fields for car parking and traffic control facilities we know you worked closely with the local Garda, we are very grateful. Durkin's Bar and Restaurant we thank you for providing the meal and refreshments on the day of Brian's burial. To all the people of Nenagh who came to sympathise or singed books of condolences we thank you. A very special word of thank St Mary's Secondary School. To the management staff, colleagues, parents and students past and present, you were credit to Brian. To you the students, who made a guard of honour, wrote poems and made a cookery book in honour of Brian we humbly thank you. We thank you all and Fr Joe Gavigan for the wonderful Mass which you helped us co-ordinate in both Ballaghaderreen and Nenagh. To the soloist Carmel McPloughman, St Mary's choir and all who took part in any small or big way we thank you. Fr Martin Henry who said the paryers in the house before Brian's removal to the church, it was so special thank you. A special word of thanks to all Brian's friends from all across the world, but especially Kieran who provided a wonderful selection of music on the harp, guitar, violen and sang at Brian's Mass. You have being a tower of strength to us over the past year, thank you. We were overwhelmed with cards, letters and phone calls. As it would be impossible to thank everyone personally, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our deepest appreciation and gratitude. St Marys & Fr Ger. Jones organised Brian's Month's Mind Mass. We as family were delighted to travel to Brian's second home to celebrate this Mass. To all of you who took part or came to sympathise we are so grateful. And for the wonderful meal you provided all our family, words cannot express how thankful we are. Brian loved living in Annabeg, Nenagh. His neighbours were so important to him, thank you most sincerely for your support and comfort during this difficult year. Finally, the Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for each and every one of you in thanksgiving. Brian's 1st Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 18th July at 8pm in St Nathy's Cathedral Ballaghaderreen .
