Brian Eugene Ownbey Sr., 56, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he was preceded in death by his father Earl E. Ownbey and his grandparents.

Survivors include his son, Brian Eugene Ownbey Jr.; granddaughter, Hannah; mother, Shirley Ownbey, sisters, Denise (Robert) Holder, Kim (Dee) Posey; niece, Rachelle (Anthony) Creamer; nephew, Eric (Michal Sarah) Gailer; great nephews, Chase and Aaron Creamer; cousins, Barry and Perry McAllister; Aunt, Rebecca McAllister, all who loved him dearly.

Brian was a member at Morris Hill Baptist church.

He will be missed by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Ronald McDonald House at: rmhchattanooga.com

A celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Valley View Chapel with the Rev. Perry McAllister and the Rev. Bill Mason officiating. Interment will follow in Morris Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. til 1 p.m. on Monday before the service at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 7414 Old Lee Highway. Please share your memories at: ChattanoogaValleyViewChapel.com
