I had the honor of recruiting this young man into the US Air Force. The world is a better place because of him and I know he will be greatly missed.

Brian was friends with both my nephew Mike Lavoie and neice, Jessica Lavoie. I've been told he was a brave and fantastic young man and a good friend. I thank him for his service and send my sincerest condolences to the entire family. God bless you all, especially his beautiful daughter.

Brian is a remarkable young man who brightened up a room with his beautiful smile. He fondly me called me "Ma" since he spent a lot of time at our house with Sal & Joe. Bill & I always enjoyed his company. Our hearts are saddened for the entire Phelan/Wood families. I will cherish my memories of Brian & will forever keep him in my heart and prayers.
