Brian Rehder Obituary
Brian was a deep thinker, passionate about theoretical philosophy and the exploration of religion. He was also well known for his world-famous rum cake, a treat cherished by many. His warmth, wisdom, and sense of humor left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Kelly Jean Rehder (Grey), as well as his second wife, Kathy Zimmerman. Brian is survived by his beloved children, Travis Jeremy Rehder (fiancé, Harley Cecchi) and Dakota Rae Rehder. He also leaves behind his sisters, Robin Halnan and Karen Thomsen (husband Gene), and his brother, Earl (Buzzy) Rehder (wife Sandra), along with numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the home of his nephew: 5105 Wall Canyon Court, Sun Valley, NV 89433.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brian's son, Travis, to support the continued medical care of his daughter, Dakota Rehder, who is currently hospitalized due to a severe vehicle accident.
Brian's legacy of love, laughter, and curiosity will live on in those he touched. May he rest in peace.
