Brian Edgar Roscoe, of Houston, Texas, died Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at age 60, at the Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, from complications of heart disease.

Brian was born in Brockton, Massachusetts, October 8, 1962. He grew up in West Bridgewater, and graduated from high school there in 1980 where he had run cross country and had been in the high school band. He was very talented musically and in his early adult life performed professionally in two bands, playing drums, base guitar, guitar, baritone horn, and singing. He studied Sound Recording Technology at the University of Lowell, then transferred to the University of Houston where he studied communications and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television. After graduation he worked in Houston, Texas in television for Fox 26 in prime time news, TV 39, Fox Sports Net and AT&T SportsNet. He later worked as a photographer for Lifetouch School Photography.

Brian was a devoted husband, father, and son. He was very active in his church, serving in the worship team, singing, playing drum and guitar, and serving as the main TV camera operator for worship live-stream.

Brian is preceded in death by his father Norman Roscoe. Brian is survived by his wife Sin-Hwee (Goh) Roscoe and son Truman Roscoe of Houston TX, son Curtis Roscoe of Longview, mother Jeanne (Taylor) Roscoe of West Bridgewater MA, brothers David Roscoe of North Andover, Mark Roscoe of Buzzards Bay, Charles Roscoe of Norfolk VA, and other extended family.

A private service for Brian was held June 16 in Houston. Another will be held in early August in West Bridgewater.

I worked at Fox Sports with Brian. He was in feed and I was in Media Vault then Traffic. Was a really nice guy. I ran into him at Costco (about 3 years after Brian left Fox Sports). We had a great nice conversation. Condolences to the family.
