Brian Shifflett Obituary
Brian Keith Shifflett, 35, of Mineral, died Sunday, May 3, 2009, at his residence.
He was born July 6, 1973, in Charlottesville, a son of Carolyn Faye Morris Fadool of Richmond and the late Melvin Charles Shifflett.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Alithia Viola Shifflett of Mineral; two daughters, Codie Brook Shifflett and Taylor Michelle Shifflett; and one son, Brian Keith Shifflett Jr., all of Mineral; two brothers, Joey Herring Sr. of Esmont and Jeffrey Shifflett of Crozet; one sister, Tonya Michelle Herring of Earlysville; one grand-daughter, Skylar Nicole Stewardson of Mineral; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Shifflett Herring.
A family visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009, at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Gordonsville. Interment will be private.
The family would also like to invite all friends to attend a benefit gathering to be held starting at 5 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2009, at Reactor 1 Club in Louisa to help raise funds for his family.
Preddy Funeral Home of Gordonsville is in charge of arrangements.
