Brian Matthew "Matt" Stahl was born in Independence, MO, on August 7th, 1986, to Charles and Jerri (Huggins) Stahl. And later became a brother to Kevin Stahl.
Matt graduated from Ft Osage High School in 2005, where he enjoyed playing the trombone in band. He was a talented musician who also played the guitar and participated in several competitions. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 206, where he earned his Eagle Scout award in 2005. He then took some classes at the Community College and some at UMKC, working toward an accounting degree.
Matt moved to Portland, Oregon, twelve years ago, where he worked at Design Star, making banners and other advertising items. Later, he worked in their payroll department until the business closed. He also worked in a steel mill and as a cook over the years. Matt was always a great cook, and we all enjoyed his creations. Matt met his fiancée, Becky, during the COVID shutdown, and they became inseparable. Sadly, Matt's health declined and we all lost a wonderful young man too soon on September 19th, 2025. Matt will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
