Dear Keith, I didn't hear about your tragic loss until today, I was so saddened to hear about Bridget. I remember how full of life she was and how happy she was as a newlywed. I don't think I ever saw her not smiling. I was glad to have known her if only for a short time when you were first married. Take care of those beautiful girls, your former neighbor, Connie.

I attended Roswell High School with Bridget. I always admired her spirit and her athleticism. I have not seen her in many years but I still remember her. I'm sure that she left a great legacy to her daughters, her husband and her family. My sympathies go out to her family.

We learned today of Bridget's passing. Our deepest and most sincere sympathy goes out to Keith and the girls. Bridget was a genuine friend, and although our paths had not crossed for several years, we think of her often. She loved life, loved her family and I know she will be missed. We will keep Keith and the girls in our prayers. Your friends, always.

Keith, Kaitlyn, Addie, Erin & Mr.& Mrs. P,
Words can not express how deeply I feel for all of you. Bridget was such a wonderful person, and it was my privilege to be her friend for so many years. Her love of life, her silly ways, and that big, beautiful smile is how I will remember Bridget most. She loved her family deeply, and she was proud of each and every one of you! and never afraid to show it! It was an honor to share these past few days with you, your families and Bridget's friends. It is something that I will hold dear to my heart forever!! Thank You all. You are all in my thoughts and my prayers. Love and Peace to you all. XOXOXO

Once again we are confronted by the mystery of the love of God in a deeply painful way in the suffering and death of Bridget and the loss of her to those who love her.
We must take solace in the many happy memories of her childhood in Wallingford and visits to Cornfield Point over the years.
Our prayers will continue that all the family will be strengthened by faith , courage and hope to bring good to the world in her memory.
With love,

Rob

Keith, Jeannie and Paul,
I want to express my gratitude to you for allowing me to spend time with you but especially with Bridget this past March. I'll remember all those moments for the rest of my life. Bridget was an example of courage and strength of faith throughout her battle with cancer. When it got tough at times she would say, "We have to pray." So we would go to her bed and ask Jesus to be with her and then she would carry on. What a privilege it was to spend this time with Bridget.

On behalf of all of my family, Aunt Maureen, Julie, Susan, Lori, Meredith, Stephen, Libby, and Michael I want express how thankful we are to be a part of your family.
We love you.

Dear Keith, Kaitlin, Addie, Erin, Jean, Paul & family; I want to thank all of you for allowing me to be a part of the last months. I have always referred to Bridgett as being like one of my kids. From the time she first came to meet Lori & I, she became a very special part of our lives. We had many laughs, heartfelt talks, and yes, even a few tears together. It was such a priviledge to have been chosen to fill the roll of care- giver to all 3 of your special girls. . She will be greatly missed, and will always hold a special part in my heart. Please remember, I will always be here for all of you and I love you. Darla

To the Hammond and Poupart families,
I am so sorry for your loss. The Poupart girls lived across the street from us in Wallingford. Bridget was an adorable little girl, energetic, high spirited and sassy! I know your hearts are aching and pray that time will ease that pain. Her spirit will live on in her beautiful daughters - her memory will be kept alive by all of those who loved her.

Dear Keith, Kaitlyn, Addie and Erin and my sister Jean and Paul,
It was a privilege to be in the presence of Bridget these last few months. Such fortitude and faith was evident always during these long months of suffering. She never gave an inch and never once dispaired.
All the prayers from all over the world covered her to the very end.
What a role model of faith she was and will always be.
I stayed with her one night in the hospital and I will never forget her words that night. She was restless with pain and praying for relief. I put my arm around her and ask Jesus to take this cross from her and give it to me and in her suffering she said,"No Aunt Judy He gave it to me."
What a witness to Christ's suffering.
How beautiful her statement.
I know she is smiling and perfectly healed in Paradise.

I was so sorry to hear the news about Bridget. I didn't get to know my cousin as well as I would have liked but the times I did spend with her were enough to know just how wonderful she was. My thoughts are with her family at this time.

My wish is that those who cared for Bridget can feel peace and value the time spent with each other in this life. Do not fear; she is surely in a better place and we will see her again.

All my love.

Even though Addie and I weren't the closest of friends I did know her mom pretty well.
Her mom was an amazing physical education coach and tought me in that class for four years and I will never forget her.
I hope her family is doing well and I wish you the best in these hard times.
Addie I know you are a strong girl and you have been doing so good with handling this.
I again wish you luck with this hard time.

Paul, Jeanie and Family,

Words can not express our sadness. At every family wedding, I’ll always think about how many people would comment about how beautiful all of the “Schug Family” girls looked. Bridget and that smile were front and center. I can remember the first time I met her and thinking how much she resembled Julie. Paul and Jean you did an absolutely perfect job raising Bridget. As a father myself, I can only hope my little girl has the same spirit and drive as your dear Bridget.

I wish we could be there to embrace all of you. Please know Julie and I are thinking about all of you and how difficult this must be. Our prayers are with you.

Ever since I was young I've admired Bridget.

I’ve looked up to her in so many ways - as a softball player, a basketball player, a student, a neighbor, a friend, a sister, a daughter, a coach. And just by example, she showed me how I could be a better me. I can only hope to take what I’ve learned from her strong and determined character and live her values in my life going forward so that maybe, just maybe, I can positively impact one person’s life as she has impacted so many.

The words on this page are just a small glimpse into her benevolent life, reflecting only a small portion of the love and inspiration she will leave behind. I am sure of that.

Keith, Kaitlyn, Addie, and Erin, know how much we love you all. Bridget will truly be missed by everyone whose lives she touched--so many. We have been blessed to have been her friend and to have watched her grow from a girl in high school playing basketball to a wife, mother, and dear friend to all. Your family means so much to us, and we will continue to lift you all up in prayer each day. We love you.

I had the humbling privilege of playing basketball side-by-side with Bridget for five years at RHS. I can remember many articles in the local paper referring to us as the "dynamic duo". It was an honor to be named in an article with such a strong athlete! Bridget made me a much better basketball player, and more importantly, a better person. Now that I coach basketball in high school, I never step on the court without remembering Bridget - her work ethic, her heart, her intensity, her encouragement, and her laugh. It takes a special person to continuously impact another's life over twenty years, but that was Bridget. To Keith and the girls, please know that you will be surrounded in prayers. I thank God for the blessing of my teammate, classmate and friend. Much love to the Pouparts and Hammonds,
JT

Bridget was one of the truly special people that a coach and teacher gets the opportunity to be around. It was a great privilege to know her, and Gayley and I were proud to have her as a friend long after she finished playing basketball. She will be missed terribly by all who knew her, but her life was lived to the fullest and best. She was a shining light in every way.
