Brigitte VENN Obituary
(nee Pollak)
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre at the age of 95. Predeceased by her beloved husband Mervyn. Loving mother of Richard and his spouse Carol Mitchell, and Johnathan and Michelle. Madeleine, Grace and Noah Venn-Mitchell, and Nicole Venn have many cherished memories of their precious grandma. Aunt Kitt will be especially missed by Jackie of South Carolina and her son Kevin, spouse Tracy and their son Silas. Kitt will also be missed by her U.K. family, Doreen, Judith, Paul and Andrew. Kitt will be fondly remembered by her Badminton, Fitness Institute, St. Clements and other dear friends. Special thanks to Kitt's wonderful caregivers Nelly, Nellie, Reena, Lovelyn, and Anna. Family and friends may call at the TRULL FUNERAL HOME "NORTH TORONTO CHAPEL", 2704 Yonge Street (five blocks south of Lawrence Ave.) on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Trull Chapel at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kitt Venn's memory may be made to the CNIB or to St. Clements Church. Online condolences can be made at www.trullfuneralsyonge.com

Kitt was an inspiration. As one of her Aquafit instructors at the Fitness Institute, I was always amazed how well she did while smiling regardless of any physical limitations. Her positive can-do attitude was infectious. Her hair, make-up and outfit were impeccable. I will always remember her fondly. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Kitt was an inspiration to all of us at the Fitness Institute. Her fellow aquafit participants remember her so fondly. Until last year she came to the Club several times a week on a long journey via TTC. Nothing stopped her from being with her friends at the Club. She was an amazing lady.
