Its hard to know what to say to those who are left behind. Brittany has made it to heaven. It is those of us who are left to age and suffer her loss. May God bless and comfort the family.

Much love and prayers,

To Brittany's loved ones;

I don't know you nor do I know Brittany but I understand your loss.

I lost my beloved sister to a house fire many years ago and the comfort I take now is in remembering her beautiful young smile and sweet, gentle personality.

She is forever 18 years young in my mind.

The pain, though mellow now, is always there but now the sweet memories bring me peace and joy. You will eventually feel the same.

My sister is with Our Lord and I'm sure she will greet Brittany as they have now have a bond.

Remembering you in prayer.

Mary

If tears could build a stairway
and thoughts a memory lane
I'd walk right up to heaven
and bring you home again
No Farewell words were spoken
No time to say good-bye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why.

My heart's still active in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one can ever know.
But now I know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store.

Since you'll never be forgotten
I pledge to you today
A hallowed place within my heart
Is where you'll always stay.

God knows why, with chilling touch,
Death gathers those we love so much,
And what now seems so strange and dim,
Will all be clear, when we meet Him.
I Knew you for a Moment

Brittany you will forever be my little sis. I remember so many wonderful memories of playing together you, Jay, and me at home and in the park. Spending so many beautiful holidays and birthdays together. Dancing silly dances and singing the songs we liked on the radio, playing sega channel, reading and watching wonderus stories for bedtime. I wish I would have spent more time with you. I wish I would have told you all the things I wanted to say. I wish I would have had the chance to say goodbye. I love you Brittany. I always have and always will. I know the lord saved a special place for you and your mother on his right side. So, until we meet again on the other side R.I.P my beautiful little sister!!!!!

Jay, I am truly sorry for the lose of both Brittany and your Mom. I know that there isn't anything anyone could ever say to stop the pain. Just know that Brittany and your Mom love you very much and they know how much you love them. They will always be with you in your heart, memories, thoughts, and dreams. You are and forever will be my little bro. I love you. I always have and always will. If you need me for any reason please call me I'll do my very best.

I am so sorry. I will miss your cutely shy visits at Pittsburgh Comiccon. It was always a highlight seeing you every year. My only regret was not doing a proper piece of your wolf character for you. You know how it is. We always think we have time...

Brittany was a wonderful young lady. Aunt Rose and I so enjoyed her as she viewed with wonder the sites of NYC. She had such potential. St. Paul says, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." I know Brittany is with that choir of angels praising God.

In heartfelt sympathy,

Bill and Judy Bell Broxson

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there: I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints off snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn's rain

Do not stand by my grave and mourn
I am the dew-flecked grass at dawn
Where tranquil oceans meet the land
I am the footprints in the sand
To guide you through the weary day
I am still here, I'll always stay

When you wake up to the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the stars that shine at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there: I did not die

I am so sorry to hear about Brittany and your mom. Brittany was a wonderful girl. She was in my Girl Scout troop, and was always so helpful and caring about other scouts. May the love of friends, family and the wonderful memories help you through your grief.
