Doug & Craig Family,
I am very sorry for your sudden loss.
Bruce was a member of the Kemptville Legion Pipe band with me and I have fond memories of him while playing and also addressing the haggis at our Robbie Burns Dinners. We also shared an Masonic interest.
Your family is in my thoughts and I'll be sure to play a tune in Bruce's honour.

My deepest sympathy to the Craig family. Bruce will be sadly missed. It was My great pleasure to be his neighbor for the last twelve years, get to know him and his sense of humor, his on going joke since Tessa was a baby always asking her each time he seen her "Hey Tessa got any gum ,can I have some" He just asked her this same question last week. Getting her usual reply "no" Bruce would then go on to go on to rib her " ah I know you got gum give me some" Tessa would laugh and offer him gum Bruce would then reply oh no thanks. Thanks for the laughs Bruce.

My Dear Uncle Bruce, I am in shock to hear of your passing. Really at a loss for words. My memories are of your wit, charm and sense of humor. I am grateful for your strong family values and will forever be thankful we had the chance to meet again, if only for our long telephone conversation in early 2009.
You have raised a beautiful family and your spirit shall live on.
All my love to you, Aunt Lea, Jennifer, Jodie and Jeff.

My deepest sympathy to Bruce's family. I am incredibly shocked and saddened to hear of his loss.
When I first came to the Cameron's to play with the pipe band, Bruce was the first person to welcome me in. He was funny, kind, and one of the most reliable members of the band. He made sure whenever he played at one of our gigs that he played his very best, that his boots shined like mirrors, and that his uniform was one of the best. Aside from all that, Bruce was a very dear friend and I will forever miss his dry humour and kindness. He will forever be remembered by all of the members of CHofO Pipes and Drums as a devoted friend and member.

Bruce,
You were always there for those you loved. You made me feel welcome and like part of the family. I will remember you for your sense of humor, your nicknames, your gruff yet still soft demeanor, and for the love you showed your wife and children.
With love, from your daughter-in-law (a.k.a - batman)

Lea and family... I am thinking of all of you at this very sad time. Bruce has been a part of our family's lives for almost 40 years, and he's my brother's best friend.

The Scott family has shared many laughs and a few sorrows with the Craig's over the years, but I never dreamed we would share such a sudden sorrow like this.

Be strong together as you share precious memories.

Bruce is a wonderful and kind man and he'll be deeply missed.

Dad

You have raised me to the best of your ability and for that I want to thank you.

Thank you for being kind, thank you for being stronger than you know, and most of all, thank you for loving us.

You have inspired me to live life to the fullest, and never back down.

I will not be taken over by the anger and
frustration of your loss.

Instead, I will remember the days when I was young and you were my hero.

I will see you in my dreams.

Dear Lea,
Shock is not the word. I'm so sorry to hear of your family's sudden loss. I still remember the first time Bruce brought you over to the Nixon's to meet us all so long ago. I saw Bruce last year and it was such a joy to see an old friend, like no years had passed at all. Same old great guy. We had a nice catch up chat, and a hug and off we went. He was a sweet man and I know that he will be missed by many.
