Bruce F. Forbes 1950-2011 LEE Bruce F. Forbes, 61, of 45 Laurel St. in Lee, died Tuesday at his home. He was born in Pittsfield on February 9, 1950 the son of Martin and Dorothy Sinclair Forbes. He was educated in the Lee Schools and attended Lee High. He worked as a paper maker for Hurlbut Paper Co., Mead Specialty Papers and Mead Westvaco in Lee for a combined 39 years. He enjoyed gardening, was a member of the Berkshire Fishing Club and enjoyed Trout and Bass fishing. He was also a member of the Lee Cemetery Committee. He leaves his wife the former Gay Lowell whom he married June 16, 1989; one son Michael J. Forbes and his wife Christina of Middletown, MD, his daughter Colleen M. Forbes of Eugene, Oregon; his step son Robert Therrien of Lee; four grandchildren and his beloved dog, Tasha. He was predeceased by his brothers Alan and George Forbes. FUNERAL NOTICE: The Funeral for Bruce Forbes will be held Saturday morning at 10:15 from the Kelly Funeral Home with a Liturgy Christian Burial at 11 at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Lenox Dale with the Rev. Christopher J. Waitekus, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Lee. Visiting hrs, at the Kelly Funeral Home will be Friday from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers friends wishing may make donations to the Lee Volunteer Ambulance Fund in care of the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main Street, Lee, MA 01238. If you would like to leave a message of condolence for the family, you may do so in The Book of Memories at www.kellyfuneralhome.net.

Gay, Bobby and extended family,
