Bruce Grigsby Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 26, 2025.
Hingham - Bruce D. Grigsby of Hingham, formerly of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the devoted husband of Sandra (Raymond) Grigsby, with whom he shared many wonderful years of marriage. In addition, he leaves behind his beloved daughter, Jannelle, along with extended family and dear friends who will forever carry him in their hearts.

Born and raised in Cambridge, Bruce was an Eagle Scout who later proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War and beyond, ultimately achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. After his years of service, he built a meaningful career in education, guided by hard work, integrity, and a genuine passion for learning. His influence reached students from around the world, and his legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched.

Bruce will be remembered for his steady presence, quick wit, and generous spirit. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and loyal friend - a source of strength and comfort to all who knew him. Whether sharing a story, offering a helping hand, or simply spending time with those he loved, Bruce embodied kindness and quiet dignity in everything he did.

A remembrance will be held on October 13; please contact the family for details.
