Port Charlotte - Bruce Erik Hubbard, aged 55, Feb. 8, 1969 - Oct. 8, 2024. Bruce was a kind-hearted and compassionate individual. He loved Music, family, friends and animals, peace and harmony.

Bruce proudly served in the Navy aboard the USS JFK CV-67, an aircraft carrier. Bruce cherished his time at the beach and the open waters, finding peace and solace in the rhythmic waves. He was a graduate of USF Tampa, Fl. He is survived by his mother Janet Hubbard of Port Charlotte, FL, sister Krista Hubbard of Wyoming, father George Hubbard of Kennesaw, GA along with countless friends. Special thanks are extended to Terry, Rick, Lawrence, Carmen, Lori, Susan and Keith for their support. Bruce was preceded in death by Bill and Laura Parlon beloved Grandparents.

Bruce loved life but battled some demons that ultimately prevailed. Let us remember that and be vigilant with our loved ones always.

A celebration of life for Bruce will be announced shortly. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at t2t.org He will forever be missed and loved.

Bruce I have so many good memories of you in time you spent with Rick and me.
I never will forget you. There is sad part in my heart of losing you as a old friend.
I loved hearing you practice your guitar. You and Rick sitting on the lanai trying not to bother anyone. The football games the Nascar races. Question who you picking Barb do you need anything. The coffee I got every morning. I'm sorry we couldn't do more. I saw the wonderful sensitive man you could be. So may our God now take care of you. Please RIP DEAR Friend.

I loved playing soccer with Bruce in high school and he quickly became a good friend. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always fun to be around. I haven´t seen him much lately but enjoyed keeping up with him on Facebook. My prayers are with his other friends and family

Bruce was a big support for me when my son went into the Navy in 2009. I was so nervous and all the unknowns was getting the best of me. He always made me feel at ease and had great advice for my son in his first few years as he got acclimated. He did this with such love and compassion!
Bruce was also there for me when I lost my husband in a tragic Semi truck accident in 2016. He checked on me daily for months and months! Again such a caring soul!! He will be missed dearly!! My sincere condolences to the family and friends and prayers for all
Rest in peace my friend!

You, my friend will be missed beyond word's. You were the person that everyone and I mean everyone could call a friend. I never met anyone that would say any different. You were so intelligent and full a fun and always had a smile for your friends. I will miss you and your energy. Save a spot for the rest of us up there in that big concert in the sky. We'll be there soon. Rest in , Buddy!
Love your friend,
Fawn
