To the Family and Colleagues at CVC of Dr. Johnson:

At a time when I'm still trying to understand my Mom's passing in June, I noted Dr. Johnson's obituary in the paper and I have even more of a difficult time trying to understand death when such a compassionate, caring, experienced and educated human being who's life was very obviously dedicated to keeping "our" loved ones alive has passed at such a young age. Dr. Johnson together his colleagues gave our family hope when there was little to hope for and gave Mom an opportunity to live a few more months with our family than we otherwise would have had. Mom told him he was her special Angel. For this we are truly grateful. I understand what a huge hole Dr. Johnson's passing has made in your lives and I know just by the care he took of my Mother, that you have many fond memories of what a wonderful person he was to draw on when the times get tough and the reality of his passing is a day to day thought. It is with very heartfelt sympanthy that I offer my sincerest condolences to Dr. Johnson's family and co-workers.

Johnson family,

My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to all of you. I worked with Dr Bruce at NMMC and CVC. He was a fine MD and took care of my own family members. I considered that a privelage. I enjoyed the many talks we had about Iceland...You will all be in my prayers, Love and Blessings, Christine Fiske

Dear Peggy and Girls,

I was stunned to hear of the death of your husband/father. I had been so fortunate to have experienced his comfort and care when my daughter was hospitalized with a heart problem several years ago. May the years of sharing his love and lifestyle give you strength during this painful time. Know you have many friends who are praying for your family. Peace,

Dear Johnson Family, I am so sad to hear of Dr. Johnson's death. He was a great man and a great physician. He was always calm and was always friendly and kind to his patients and the staff he worked with. I knew him from working in intensive care at North and also in recovery room. He was always so good with his patients and we loved his easy going manner. He was truly a man who gave of himself every day. My sympathy goes to you and your family.
