Bruce Mason Obituary
He is survived by his brother, Robert Mason of Colorado; two grandchildren, Brandon Mason and Christine Mason of Elmira; eight nieces and nephews; six grand-nieces and nephews; and his sister, Debbie Alsheimer-Dickinson of Florida; and five great-grand nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his mother and step-father, who are buried in Jacob's Ladder in Avoca; his two sons, both named George Mason; a daughter, Christine Mason.
Bruce was an accomplished body and fender man, and he owned his own shop in Kanona. He was also a truck driver, going across the country often until his health prevented him from doing his job.
Bruce loved fishing and hunting, classic cars and built a few for himself. He also had a towing and wrecker service in Cory, Col.
There will be a military service at a later date.
Bruce served his country for three years in the Army. He will be cremated and his ashes will be sent to Colorado to eventually be buried with his family in Avoca.
May God rest his soul, he is with mom now.
