John Carpeta Jr.

John Carpeta, 58, of Donora, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, in his home. He was born Sept. 24, 1957, in New Eagle, the son of John and Rose Botsko Carpeta. John had a big heart and was very generous. He was always there to give to others, even if it meant that he would do without. He is survived by his sister, Joyce Eckels and husband, Bill, of Monongahela; three nieces, Tina Porter and husband, Brian, of Charleroi, Debbie Angelo of Washington, Billie Sue Fronzaglio and husband, Tony, of Charleroi; nephew, John Eckels of Monongahela; 10 great-nieces and nephews; four great-great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Martin Moser Carpeta. Friends will be received on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held on Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at 11a.m. with the Rev. Gregg Anders officiating.
