Mr. Montgomery was in my "Chair Tap Dance Class" at an Assisted Living Facility. He loved the song "MacArthur's Park", so I would make sure to play it when he was present in my class. I'll always remember him as a very kind person.

I was sorry to hear about Bruce's death today. My condolences go to Nan and the rest of the family. I enjoyed seeing him at the CALL classes at Keene State College. Though I did not know Bruce well, the family connection goes back several decades

I worked with Bruce before I joined Arnold & Porter. Bruce was part of the A&P crew that worked for the Muskie presidential campaign. It was Bruce who convinced me to join Arnold & Porter. I worked closely with him in the recruiting from Yale Law School and with his client Harte-Hanks on a anti-trust matter. He was an ideal mentor, freely giving advice and support without taking over matters when we were both involved. We visited with Bruce and Nan in New Hampshire and we became collectors of Nan's paintings which still hang on our living room wall. Bruce represented everything that was good about Arnold & Porter with his special attention to pro bono work. His integrity and advice will be irreplaceable.

Some of our sweetest memories of Alstead are those of dinners in your dining room and ours. I seem to remember LOTS of laughter. Bruce's loss is huge in our lives. We love you, Nan.
