Bruce A. Pattison

Bruce A. Pattison, age 68 of Cleveland, formerly of Mentor, died Monday January 18, 2016 at Heartland of Mentor, Mentor. He was born August 17, 1947.
Bruce graduated from Mentor High School, class of 1965. He then served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. After his discharge he worked at the former Bailey Meter until he later expanded his love of cooking by opening up and running many restaurants in the area and then went on to produce two movies. Bruce went back to being a chef and eventually ended his working career as a chef for Metro Hospital in Cleveland. Bruce was an avid reader who was rarely without a good book. Bruce later went on and fulfilled his dream to graduate college at Cleveland State.
Survivors include his siblings, Robert (Norma) Pattison, Thomas (Albina) Pattison, Michelle (Gary) Gersin, Michael (Jennie) Pattison, Timothy and Patricia Pattison; and many nieces and nephews.
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert A. and June E. Pattison.
Private family serves will be held.
A private inurnment will be in Mentor Cemetery, Mentor.
