Bruce was a kind and gentle man who suffered a lot of tough challenges without complaint. He will be missed, but his inspiration will live on.

I served in the Army with Bruce. He was a great guy. We met when we in the 314th.Sig.Con'st. Btn.atCampGordon,GA.
Two things that I remember about Bruce.
The first was that when he laughed hard he would slap his knee and we would say..."That's a real knee slapper aye Bruce!" The other thing was
one morning while standing Reveille our Company Commander,Capt. Jansik, made a surprise inspection. When he got in front of Bruce he said "Did you shave this morning?" Bruce said "YES SIR!"
Capt. said " Next time put a blade in your razor."
The last time I saw Bruce was in the late 1960 when I went to his house with Dick Mayer, since passed, another old Army buddy.from Stephentown.
Carolyn,May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and Bruce, a quiet, peaceful unassuming person who had more than his share of pain and suffering. May you rest in peace, Bruce.
