Bruce Wayne Sidwell
October 6, 1939 - December 1, 2020
Ferndale, Washington - Bruce was born October 6, 1939 in Torrace, CA. He moved with his family to Blaine, WA in 1954. After graduating from Blaine High School in 1957, Bruce served two years in the U.S. Navy. He married Audrey Yost in 1961, until her death in 2009. Bruce retired in 1999 from Georgia Pacific Paper Mill after 36 years. Some of his passions were boxing, baseball, and Texas Hold 'Em Poker. Bruce was a one of a kind character who could tell a story like nobody else.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Audrey; parents, Wayne and Lucille; and brother, Gary.
We will sure miss him and his funny stories.
Bruce is survived by his wife of ten years, Josephine; brother, Robert (Marlene) Sidwell; son, Steve (Pik) Sidwell; and numerous grandchildren.
May he rest in peace.

Bruce was a great neighbor who kept watch of the neighborhood. For those who may have taken the time to know him would have been blessed by his presence and genuine caring about any person or issues of the day. He would always lend a hand, a real opinion or the shirt off his back. Rest well my friend and neighbor.
