I worked in ACPD ECC (9-1-1 center) when Bruce was an auxillary officer -- he always provided the entertainment with his stories...he was sooo good with the people he had contact with on the street because he was always so good with people in general. You are a good person, Bruce, and your legacy will live on in what you accomplished while there and everywhere else in the world you were, regardless of what you were doing at the time.
We had a lot of laughs, Bruce... make them laugh in Heaven -- and tell my Mom a joke -- how she would have loved you !
Thanks for the memories !

I had the priviledge of working with Bruce for several years at the old "Center." He was a tremendus worker, a source of inspiration to all of us and never hesitated to keep us all entertained with his great sense of humor--many times he was the life of our monthly celebrations. He had a tremendous spirit and obviously used it to fight his cancer all these years. Bruce was a true example to all of us. He will truly be missed. He and Janet P. are probably telling jokes to one another right now....

Our deepest sympathy to all of you in the Zerbe/Ivie/Cogswell families in the loss of one so dear to you all. It's been a long battle for Bruce, and I'm glad he could have the extra time that his earlier treatment gave him, even though there was never the cure that we'd all hoped and prayed to happen.

Bruce was well regarded as an auxiliary officer to the Arlington County Police Department. His service was appreciated.

Amazing...totally amazing! Bruce and I were in the hospital many decades ago and I never knew where he was or anything until earlier this year. Now I read is obituary. God bless, my friend.
