Bryan Hickman Obituary
Mr Bryan Hickman, of Newbold, has died at home, aged 81. Born at Staveley (Poolsbrook) and a life long resident of the area, he worked at the Co-op and then latterly he was a self employed shop keeper for 30 years until retirement. Mr Hickman was first and foremost a family man who enjoyed playing poker, horse racing, crown green bowling and holidays abroad.The widower of Brenda, he leaves daughters Julie and Kathryn, grandchildren Michelle, Mark, Liam, Kieran and Charlotte and great-grandchildren Isla, Finlay and Megan.The service is due to take place at Chesterfield Crematorium, today,Thursday, November 15, at 11.10am. Funeral directors Co-operative Funeralcare, 55 West Bars, Chesterfield (tel. 01246220201).
