Bryan NESBITT Obituary

Published by Saskatoon StarPhoenix on Dec. 8, 2012.
NESBITT, Bryan
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bryan Nesbitt on December 5, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bryan was born and raised on a farm near Southey, Saskatchewan and enjoyed the country life. In the 1960's, he moved to Regina and lived with his sister Betty, where he was employed by Pilkington Glass. Bryan's life was further fulfilled in the late 60's with the birth of his two daughters. By the 1970's, he began his life long career in the trucking industry where his life was enriched by the people he met along the way. A highlight of his life was when he met his wife Heather, and together they enjoyed 22 years. One of the things Bryan and Heather looked forward to were spending their summers relaxing at the cabin at Whelan Bay. Bryan's love of motorcycles was quite apparent to everyone who knew him and he enjoyed his trips on his Harley. He was a hardworking, dedicated employee with Kleysen's Transport for the last 23 years. He was diagnosed in August 2011 and worked right up until two weeks prior to his passing. Bryan is survived by his wife Heather, sister Betty, daughters Terri (Rob), Jennifer (Wayne), and grandchildren Chris, Bryan and Danielle. The family would like to thank the staff at the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic, RUH and St. Paul's Palliative Care. The Celebration of Bryan's life will be held on Monday, December 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th St., first right past Briargate Road). Online condolences may be sent from www.hillcrestmemorial.ca Arrangements entrusted to Sten Olesen.

Missing you terribly! The bad days still outweigh the good days. This roller coaster ride really needs to stop....cuz I hate roller coasters. I find myself often thinking "What would Bryan do?" and then have to step back knowing that it's just not me to be straight forward and to the point. But I do know some of the decisions I have had to make you would agree with 100%. I will always love you with all my heart!
