BRYAN LASHER
Age 34, of Destrehan, LA for the past 17 years, formerly of Wilmington, DE, on Tues. Jan. 13, 2009. Born June 8, 1974 in Delaware, son of Daniel and Janice (Lasher) Parkhill. Fiance of Saioa de Urquiza; brother of Carrie (Brian) Leaumont and Colin Parkhill; grandson of Gale L. Lasher and Winifred McGowan Parkhill and the late Carmela "Millie" (Manfred) Lasher and the late Clifford Parkhill. Bryan was a Process Operator with Valero; Lance Corporal with the US Marine Corps; member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Friends will be received 9 am -12:30 pm Monday, Jan. 19 at the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Cowansville, PA, followed by Services 1 pm at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Adrian. Rev. Arlyn Eisenbrandt officiating. I lost touch with Bryan after you moved from Grand Island. I'm so sad to learn of his death. He was my first love and I'll always hold a place in my heart for him -- however stormy our high-school romance was! Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I met Bryan several years ago, as one of the customers at Walgreens on Chateau and West Esplanade in Kenner. He used to come in at about 4 AM either prior to or after his shift at Valero, usually buying something to eat. I did not know him very well, but had missed seeing him for several months.
Then, one evening he came in with Saioa, and I mentioned I hadn't seen him for a long time. That is when he told me about being ill. This was the last time I saw him, but always asked every Valero employee that came in if they knew him (none did)...
We here at the store have missed him, and are saddened to hear of your family's loss.
