Byron Melrose Obituary
Byron was known for his kind, generous, giving, loving, athletic, and trustworthy nature. He was an avid skier, hiker, boater, and horseback rider. Byron graduated from Sonora High School.
He is survived by his wife Joan Regan, daughters Chantel (Don), Janine, Johnna (Vernon), grandchildren Miguel (Hannah), Julie (Jesus), Shane. Byron was preceded in death by his grandparents Lizzie Ann Bottemiller and Edward C. Bottemiller, mother Florence, and daughter Suzanne.
Byron worshiped at Lake Tahoe Christian Fellowship.
A true patriot and dedicated professional, Byron Kern Melrose will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

Byron and I roomed together for almost two years in Modesto when we were attending Modesto Junior College. We kept in touch for several years after that. Fond memories of our time together. We were the same year in high school at Sonora.

I always thought that Byron was a very kind person. I enjoyed working with him at Harveys. I had great respect for him as a person and felt that he was genuine with all he encountered.
