Caitlin was really special to me here in Austin, and I've been really busted up that we lost her. It's been strange because I don't really know anyone else here who knew her, and I only found out she was gone because we normally would text a lot and we had plans to get together. Then her phone was turned off and I only found out from facebook when I went looking for her. I don't even know if she knew how much she meant to me, but she was one of my best friends here. I haven't really been able to process it at all, and I don't even know what happened, but I know that we are all impoverished by losing her. She was such a cool fun friendly person with such a great spirit. I know she had woes, but I also know that she saw a life for herself that was long term, and I never, ever thought that she wouldn't be around. I'm so sad about it, I really loved her and I miss her a lot. I'm glad for this site just for a place to be able to express it because I haven't been able to express it to anyone really. Okay thanks, this is her friend Josh Harnden, [email protected]

I´m so sorry to hear this news.
Memories of Windsor Court and the throng of kids playing in the yards and waiting for the school bus. I remember Caitlin´s grin and the twinkle in her eyes.
I´ll add a photo when I find it.

To my childhood neighbors, I´m so sorry for your loss. I babysat Caitlyn and Patrick back in the day. She was full of energy and I remember jumping on mattresses in the basement! I´m sure we have some old photos. I´ll try to dig them up.

I remember meeting Caitlin at one of your "Academy Award" parties, Mary. She was delightful, with a bright smile and quick wit. She will be greatly missed and I know you are experiencing great pain and grief. Sending hugs and deepest sympathies on your tremendous loss, my friend.

I didn't know Caite. I met her at Gramma's funeral and was excited to know there was another pug enthusiast in the family. She was warm and had a great smile. I lost my brother in a similar way 6 years ago. There are no words. May her memory be a blessing. Love and light surround you in your grief. Xo
