Caleb Wilson

Wilson, Caleb 12/13/1994 - 4/26/2021 Caleb Elijah Wilson, age 26, passed away April 26, 2021. He was born on December 13, 1994 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was a 2013 graduate of Ann Arbor Pioneer High School. Caleb was known as a sports fanatic who could recall facts and statistics readily, both at the college and professional levels. Growing up, he participated in baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, and several years of travel soccer. Oftentimes the smallest player on the field, Caleb was certainly one of the fastest and most competitive! He also enjoyed attending any and all sporting events, including those of his siblings, where he would cheer them on with great pride. He enjoyed listening to music and attending musical performances. He developed a love for all things Disney and made treasured memories with his family through many visits to various Disney destinations, as well as other travel locations across the country. Most recently, Caleb found joy in playing games, such as Scrabble, with his grandparents and expanding his knowledge of facts by competing on Jeopardy from the couch! Those who cherish his memory include his loving parents, Shaun and Jennifer (Brown) Wilson of Ann Arbor, MI; siblings, Jada (21), Marcus (16), and Lia (14) Wilson of Ann Arbor, MI; paternal grandparents, Charlie and Coleen (Houston) Carter Jr. of McKinney, TX; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Evelyn "Lyn" (Gaskins) Brown of Ann Arbor, MI; uncle, Robert "Rob" Brown, with whom he lived in Ypsilanti, MI; aunt, LaDondra Wilson of Dallas, TX, and a host of other great aunts, great uncles, and cousins throughout Michigan, Texas, and elsewhere. Caleb was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald "TC" Wilson of Dallas, TX; and uncle, Randall "Randy" Brown, of Brighton, MI. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 29 at 1:00 pm at Zion Lutheran Church, 1501 W. Liberty St., Ann Arbor 48103, immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm at the church. Caleb will be remembered most as an intelligent, loving, kind, and comical young man who loved his family tremendously. He will be missed deeply by all who knew him.
