Kern and his father, Cal Sr., used to fuel our home in Newton for as long as we lived there. When I was a kid, Kern used to let me sit in his truck while he was fueling the house. He was a beautiful human being ; hard working, enterprising and always, always- positive, with a great smile. Condolences to his family and many friends. He was one of a kind and he will be missed.

Sending condolences & prayers to Kern´s beloved partner Lee Anderson, family, friends, extended family & all who knew and loved Kern.
Kern was very special to us. We have many good memories of spending time at his residence on MV until present and back in the day. So very saddened to hear of his passing and even more saddened that due to this whole situation we as a community will not be able to go and support and comfort the family with love and hugs..our hearts and prayers are with them and with you Lee. May God continue to provide peace and comfort during this difficult time. Prayers going up. May you Rest In Peace Kern. Love Cheryl & Bob
