You treated me as your daughter. After looking through the family photos, it is hard to believe that I have not seen you since 1974, Your family has always been close to my heart. Love to all.

Mr. Calvin, will be dearly missed by myself and my grandson Alex. I feel so blessed that Alex and I had a wonderful, surprise visit with Calvin, just a few days before he passed away. Alex is only 4, but almost everyday from the time he was 2 months old, we'd go walking and stop to chat with Mr. Calvin. As Alex got older, Calvin let Alex sit on his tractor, as he explained all the parts of the tractor and how it worked. For a moment in time, there was no age difference, just 2 boys talking about tractors. This last visit, Alex brought Christmas cupcakes for Mr. Calvin, which he helped me make, and iced for his very first special friend. We love and miss you Mr. Calvin. May you rest in peace in the beautiful gardens of heaven.

Mr. Steele was a sweet neighbor. When I first moved in, I stopped one day to tell him how much my mom loved a certain plant in his yard. Next thing I knew he was giving me a cutting for her. Selfless and sweet. He will be missed.

Sending my love to the family of this very special man. Calvin was one of the most kind, gentle men that I have ever known. He was a loving husband to Jane, an extra special dad to his children, crazy about his grandchildren and great grands and a long time friend to our family. RIP Calvin. You will be missed.
