P.F.C. Cameron J. Macias, 21, of Killeen, Texas, passed away March 30, 2018. Cameron was born November 21, 1996, in Houston, Texas to Larry and Lisa Macias.

Cameron was an active duty soldier in the United States Army. He enlisted and reported for duty September 2016. He was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty of 19k, Armor Crewman. He deployed to the Republic of Korea from June 2017 to February 2018. He is the recipient of the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon. Cameron loved to have fun, playing all kinds of sports, he had a great passion for the game of chess, enjoyed playing online video games with friends, and most importantly, loved spending time with his son.

Cameron is survived by his wife Yassmine Macias, son, Alexander L. Macias, mother Lisa De La Cerda, siblings, Yvonne M. Kirisoglu, Daniel L. Macias, Kimberly A. Macias, Jasmine N. Macias, Stephanie R. Macias and Miss Pearl A. Macias, many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Larry Macias and maternal grandparents Cornelio De La Cerda and Blanche S. Sanchez. He never met a person who didn't become a part of his family. He brightened any room he entered with his smile. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary service to be held at 6:00pm. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 11:00am with a committal service at 12:30pm at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038. A reception will take place at the American Legion Hall, 7599 Avenue C., Houston, Texas 77012

I just wanted to say that i miss you so much cameron and that my family misses you as well i can just remember the great stories that we share of when you jumped into my moms car while she was driving cause you didnt want to go home i rememeber when you used to babysit me when i was little you made me and my brothers breakfest that was a breakfest to remember it was eggs with hotdog wenners i will charish all the moment me and my family had with you REST IN PEACE I LOVE YOU CAMERON.
