Cameron Olenick Obituary
Suddenly at home on June 19, 2013 at the age of 15. Cherished Son of Martyn and Marisa Olenick. Cameron will be deeply missed by his Brothers Liam and Drew and Cousins Lucas, Adam, Graham, Nathan, Sarah (Kyle), Barry, Ben and Michael. Proud Grandparents Grandma Rose and Nonno Alessio Grillo. Cameron joins Bapcha Nellie and Djaja George Olenick in Heaven. He will also be missed by Uncle Lindsay, Auntie Sabrina, Uncle Rob, Auntie Alessia, Uncle Mel, Auntie Nancy, Uncle Barry, Auntie Janice, Uncle George and Auntie Lois. Cameron our gentle, sweet, loving boy - you will always be in our hearts forever. Love Mom and Dad. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends for memorial visitation at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Tuesday, June 25th from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Cameron's life will take place on Wednesday, June 26th at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Epilepsy Ontario or McMaster Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to share with Cameron's family the memory of a loving and sweet child who was in my kindergarten class many years ago. I remember a fun loving boy and a deeply caring family(along with two very active siblings). I am sorry for your loss and read your memoriam for Cameron in the Hamilton Spectator just recently. Martyn and Marrissa: Mark Skyler and I cannot find the words to adequatley convey our sorrow and sympathy for you and your family's loss. One just had to glance at Cameron and you immediatly got the sense that he was different , better than the rest. He emitted an immediate sense of kindness and gentleness that is very rare in this world especially in teenagers. Mark and I were always so grateful to Cameron for his kindness and inclusiveness of our daughter Skyler. He always included her and didnt take her shyness as an excuse. Skyler thought the world of Cameron and always talked about how kind and nice he was. Skyler also often talked about the time her and Cameron took off and went tobboganing together and what fun they had. I was terribly saddened to see Cameron's picture and obituary today. I was a volunteer in Cameron's class when he went to Fessenden Public School. I would sit at my table and Cameron would join me there and we would work together. There was always a smile and a twinkle in his eyes that would light up his face like nobody's business.
I can see from your photos that he was truly loved and that he loved back as hard. I will never forget Cameron.
