Sylvania – Camille Eastmead Edenfield Lanier, 85, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Syl-view Care and Memory Center. She was born in Screven County to the late Edward, Sr. & Stella Sasser Eastmead. She was a faithful member of Little Horse Creek Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was the church pianist for many years. She also was retired from White Stag Manufacturing Company in Sylvania where she worked as the secretary. She was preceded in death by her Parents; First Husband: Edward Edenfield; Sisters: Evelyn Sasser Sherrod and Billie Thigpen Jenkins; Brother: Edward Eastmead, Jr..

Survivors: Husband: Josh Robert Lanier of Sylvania; Daughter and Son-In-Law: Brenda Edenfield & John Mark Counts of Sylvania; Son and Daughter-In-Law: Jim & Dawn Edenfield of Sylvania; Sister-In-Law: Faye E. Hosti of Tybee Island, GA; Grandchildren: Mark & April Counts, Cam & Jeff Black, Ginny & Jon Guerry Burns and Sarah & Chuck Kight; Great-Grandchildren: Kayla & Josh Patrick, Will Counts, Scout Black, Piper Black, Jon David Burns, Ava Burns, Max Kight and Ryan Kight; Great-Great-Grandchild: Reese Patrick; Several Nieces and Nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Delia Daughtry for her care and love extended to Mrs. Camille.

Visitation: Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Little Horse Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral Service: Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Little Horse Creek Baptist Church with Rev. David Buie and Dr. Maxwell Kennedy officiating. Burial following at Little Horse Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Jon Guerry Burns, Chuck Kight, Jeff Black, Steven Lewis, Gary Edenfield and Floyd Waters.

Family requests in lieu of flowers to make contributions to Ogeechee Area Hospice, P O Box 531, Statesboro, GA 30459.

So sorry for your loss. The loss of a loved one is never easy. Especially a Mother. We did not know Ms. Camille, but we know she was very loved beyond words. Her families faces show it. May God bring you comfort and ease your pain of loss. Larry and I will honor your request and send a donation in her name to Hopice. May The Heavenly Father bless you all.
