Camille St. Laurent Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 11, 2025.
Camille St. Laurent, beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend to so many, passed away in the early morning of September 9 peacefully at home with his family in Somers, CT, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Camille's life began on December 14, 1954 in Notre Dame-des-Bois, Quebec, Canada, when born to parents Louis and Jeanne (Lessard) St. Laurent (both predeceased). He is survived by his children, Shaun St. Laurent (and wife Angela Palermo) and Alanna Dearden (and husband Scott), as well as his four grandchildren, Taylor, Mallary, Arthur and Adele. He leaves his two brothers: Denis St. Laurent and Michele St. and wife Pierette Robert St. Laurent, and four sisters: Louise St. Laurent LeBlanc (and husband Norman (both predeceased)), twin sisters Claire St. Laurent Grant, Carol St. Laurent Beattie (and husband James), and Susan St. Laurent Gaetano (predeceased). In addition, Camille leaves many nephews and nieces.

Camille was a dedicated freelance sheet rocker, retiring from Network Interiors, and nothing brought him more pleasure than a hard day's work while hanging with the guys. A private burial will be held at St. Mary Cemetery in New Britain on a date TBD. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
