Cammeron Deibler Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 16, 2024.
Cammeron Dannel Deibler passed away on November 10, 2024. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Nanci Deibler; his brother, Ryan Deibler (Pamela Harris); and the mother of his children, Maegan Deibler, and their two beautiful sons, Turner and Wells Deibler.

Cammeron was born in Rhode Island on September 28, 1979. The Deibler family moved to Biloxi, Mississippi, then Poquoson, VA when his father began working at Langley AFB. As a young boy, Camm loved climbing the Hackberry tree beside his childhood home.

Cammeron was an amazing soccer player and eventually passed that love of the sport to his young boys. Camm graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Science.

After college, Cammeron moved to Richmond. He loved music and being outside, frequently attending concerts, festivals and loving life! He later married and was blessed with two amazing boys, Turner and Wells. He was a devoted father and the boys were truly the loves of his life; he was so proud of them. He had a big heart and kind soul. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all of who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held at Forest Hill Park beside the playground on Saturday November 23, 2024 at 11am; all are welcome.

In partnership with Friends of the James River Park, his sons, Turner and Wells, will plant a Hackberry tree in Camm's memory during the service. Cammeron's will be Tree #1 of this new Legacy program which will allow others to also honor loved ones with new life.

Memorial donations may be made to Cub Scout Pack 425, WestoverHillsUMC.org/give.

Cam and Ryan were my first friends when I moved to Poquoson in 1985. We would spend the days crabbing and beating the rest of the neighborhood children in whatever games we played. I last saw Cam when we traveled to Atlantic City to see Phish play on the beach in 2021... I cannot count the number of concerts we traveled to see together over the years.
My life was better because he was in it, and it's going to take me a long time to get used to the fact that I won't get to make more memories with my dear friend. Sonny Emerson

Rest in peace, my friend. You were my roommate about 20 years ago. You had great taste in music and we had a lot of great times together. I´m sorry to hear of this news. until we see each other in the next lifetime, rest easy..

Mike, Nanci, Ryan, and family. I can't believe the sad news of Camm's passing, and can still see that shaggy haired kid on the soccer field. Although I have not seen him in many years, I will always cherish the fond memories that I have. You are in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you at this difficult time. I taught with Cammeron's mother in Poquoson. How very proud she was of Cammeron. My heart goes out to all of you. God bless.

Camm became a close friend of mine during my stay in Poquoson as an exchange student in 1996-97. A very unique person who everybody want's in his Lifestyle. RIP brother.
