Candace Davis Obituary

Candace passed away after a ten-year struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Candace was born in North Dakota and moved to Salinas with her family at a very young age.
She graduated from North Salinas High in 1970 and was employed by the Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital for more than 15 years. She enjoyed those years working in the Mother/Baby Unit. After her retirement, she married and moved to the Sacramento area.
Candace was a talented artist and enjoyed hand painting Christmas ornaments that she gave as gifts to her family and friends. She loved gardening, skiing, camping, and all animals.
She is survived by her daughter, Sunshine Martin Sites (Bill) of Salinas; her mother, Dorothy Vincent; sister, Coralie Pusley; brother, Dennis Roseno, all of Jamestown, and her brother, Steve of Boney Lake, WA; two nieces and one nephew, and her sisters-in-law, Jean Morgan and Ouita Martin.
Donations to the Salinas Animal Shelter, 1444 Hitchcock Road, Salinas, CA 93908, or to the donor's favorite charity would be appreciated.

Truly enjoyed working with Candy,she cauld make our worse day fun
