Cara CASEY Obituary
May 21, 1992 - January 29, 2017
It is with profound sadness that we regret to announce the sudden passing of our beloved Cara Ann Casey at the early age of 24 of an unexpected cardiac arrest.
Cara was a glowing light to each and every one of us that has had the honour and privilege to know her. It is unmeasurable the darkness left from that beautiful light. To know her was to love her and her love was unwavering. She is survived and deeply missed beyond words by her loving parents, Geri and Howard Perkins, Tom and Nicole Casey; siblings whom she shared a deep bond with, Carmen, Brett, Crystal (Ian, Keegan, Skylar, Macy, Wyatt) and Dallas (Amy, Carter, Ameilia); beloved Grams and Gramps Gillstrom, and Grandma Casey (predeceased Grandpa Casey); loving aunts and uncles, Grace and Ernie, Gref and Sue, Scott, Annie Cara J and Uncle B, Al and Kathy, Greg and Jeannie, Brad and Jill, Lorne and Gio, Tim and Ginny, Tyler, Laureen; many loved cousins, special friends Holubitsky Family; friends and colleagues; and her beloved Baby Bella.
Go in peace our beautiful angel we always knew you would reach the stars and we will forever see you in them.
Celebration of Cara will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2017 at Connelly- McKinley Edmonton South Funeral Home, 4820 Meridian Street NW, Edmonton (Driving east on the Whitemud Freeway, take the 17th Street exit ramp. Turn left at the lights onto 17th street (you are now heading north). Travel to 76 Avenue and turn RIGHT).
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated towards a Memorial Bench to be set up in Cara's honour. Please forward to Connelly-McKinley, 4820 Meridian Street NW, Edmonton AB T6P 1R3.
