GREENSBORO — Carl Jay Alston III, 49, died Friday, January 1, 2010.
The funeral will be held at 12 noon p.m., Thursday, January 7 at Woodard Funeral Home with Rev. William Alston officiating. Burial will follow at Piedmont Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father Carl Alston, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Alexis Renee Alston, mother Carolyn Alston, grandfather Charles Johnson (Barbara), two brothers Charles R. (Debra) and Gary Alston of Greensboro; two sisters Pamela Alston of Greensboro and Dorothy McLaughlin (Edward) of Stone Mountain, Ga.; two step daughters Quintisha Grace (Vonzelle), Shawnequa Williams, two grandchildren Devontae and Zhane' Grace, three nieces, three nephews, two great nieces, and two great nephews, and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.
