Carl “Arnie” Fenn Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 21, 2025.
Carl "Arnie" Fenn, 76, passed away on August 21, 2025, in Redmond, Oregon. Born on October 25, 1948, in Nyssa, Oregon, Arnie lived a life marked by dedication-to his family, his country, and his work.

Arnie proudly served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971 as a helicopter mechanic. His service reflected his strong sense of duty and technical skill during a pivotal time in American history.

Following his military service, Arnie embarked on a distinguished career spanning over four decades as Service Manager for Cranston Machinery. His commitment and expertise left a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike.

He was a devoted husband to Kathy, a loving father to daughter Tracy Zeitz and son Travis Fenn, and a caring brother to Carla Hall. Arnie was preceded in death by his parents, Norma Turnbull Fenn and Donald Carl Fenn.

A man of quiet strength and enduring loyalty, Arnie will be remembered with deep affection by those who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite veterans charity in honor of Arnie's service.

May his memory bring comfort and peace to all who mourn his passing. A Service will be held on October 6, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Willamette National Cemetary 11800 SE Mt. Scott Blvd.

My heart breaks for the Fenn Family. Arnie was a generous and caring individual. I will be forever grateful for the many flying hours he shared to allow us to come to Oregon to visit family a couple of times. I will miss his FB posts of the deer that made HIS home THEIR home. He loved it! Peace and Love to Kathy and her family whom he loved dearly. May he rest in peace until we are reunited again someday.
Love,
Evelyn Lewis
