We lived right next to Carl (directly across Hodge Rd (22nd)) for our entire lives. Carl told me recently that Mom used to tell him; "Carl, you did a find job helping me raise 5 boys". And that he did. He was a special man, friend and neighbor. Always good for a conversation when he came to get his mail. Our driveway was right in front of him then. If anyone was within earshot, Carl would say "Hi Emil or Elsie or John or Bob or Jim or Tom or Tim". He knew all our names until the end. My most recent visit with him was in October. When I opened his door in St. Helen's I heard the very familier "Hi Tom". I will miss him alot!

Carl Campbell was a special friend of mine. We dug razor clams together and took many trips through the woods in our pickup trucks. May he rest in peace
