I am so very sad to hear that Carl, has passed away. I met Carl 18yrs ago at PLU at the pool wear I worked. He would come in and swim, I enjoyed talking with him. He had such a great way about him that he just made you feel not out of place and always had some positive to say. Around that time I had a holloween party and he let one of our friends use his old set robe's and the friend was ah big hit. From then on Carl was one of the guys. From thier he married Ann Lucky, who I have known for many years also. "God" has blessed us with a great man Carl William Hageman Jr.

Carl: I am so saddened to hear of your passing. I always thought of you as my friend first and then our trusted bookkeeper. I will remember you for your kind soul and easy manner. I know you are in a better place and watching over your family and friends. Thank you Carl for your long-time friendship and service to the Duwamish Tribe. You were always there for us and we are forever grateful for your support. Rest in peace ~ I hope to greet you again in friendship one day. As per usual, the gentleman always knows when its time to leave.:)

You will be remembered as a professional and dedicated co-worker and volunteer. Thank you for your service to the tribal community. I will always remember your humble sandals under your desk, a simple link to the fisherman that inspired your charity.
