Carl Jackson Honeycutt, 81, passed away on Monday at Rex Hospital. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Andrew Carl and Lida Baker Honeycutt. Carl was a 1955 graduate of Cleveland High. In 1986, after many years of working in sales he founded Triangle Sanitation Supply, Inc. of Garner. Carl was a 55 year member of William T. Bain 231 Masonic Lodge and past president of Wake Co. Shrine Club. He loved and enjoyed his family along with many years of boating, fishing and porch sitting at Harkers Island.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh with Masonic Rights.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Sue Stephenson Honeycutt; daughters, Carlette Moser and husband, David of Siler City, Celeste Blankenship and husband, Johnny of Raleigh; son, A. Scott Honeycutt and wife, Beth of Garner; sister, Marie Smith and husband, Al of Raleigh; grandchildren, Marshall Moser, III, Kevin Moser and wife, Amanda, Brythe Blankenship, Haley Dozier and husband, Dakota, Arlie Honeycutt and Jackson Honeycutt; great-grandchildren, Landon and Ava Moser; sister-in-law, Carolyn Brakebill and husband, Jack; brother-in-law, L.G. Jones; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Letha, Vera, Beatrice; brother, C.G. and a sister-in-law, Barbara.

The family would like to thank Dr. Lydia Chang and Dr. Patrick Nachman of UNC for years of dedicated care. They would also like to thank the staff at Rex Hospital for the exceptional care they gave Mr. Honeycutt during his recent stay.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.

Contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd. Greenville, SC 29605 in Carl's memory.
