In the 80's it was hard to find Boots and me apart. We worked together, surfed together, and went on surf trips together. Calling Boots a friend falls way short. He was my brother from a different mother, although Ruby was my Wrightsville Beach mom back then! Boots, you are loved by many and will be missed. Catch some waves for me!

Sorry to learn of Boot's death. He was a good and kind person. I will always cherish the times we shared. So sorry Beth and Sarah for your loss as I know your hearts are hurting. Hugs and prayers to you all.
