Age 92, of Dormont, PA, peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at St. Clair Hospital surrounded by family. Mr. Mock is survived by his beloved wife, Naomi (Gleason) Mock; loving father of six children, Nancy Morrison (Scott), Donald (Catherine), Gregory (Laura), Wayne (Teri), Elaine Malcolm (Scott), Paul (Donna); cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren, Stacey Vespaziani (Brian), Heather Sadler (Aaron), Eric Morrison, Andrew, Morgan Malcolm, Henry, Lauren Malcolm, Olivia, Sophia; and great-grandfather of Grace Sadler; dear uncle of Shannon (Gleason) Briskey (David), Maureen (Gleason) Trenga (Guy), and Kristin Scherrbaum (Brian); and friend to the mother of his nieces, Harriet Scherrbaum; great- uncle to the Briskey children, Andrew, Ashley, Dan and Dale. Preceded in death by his treasured brother-in-law, Dale Gleason. Carl was a veteran of World War II where he served as an Army officer in India. He grew up in Brentwood, PA with extended family. He and Naomi were married on May 13, 1950, and recently celebrated 66 devoted and happy years of marriage. He worked at Gateway Center as a Stationary Engineer in the Operating Engineer Union Local 95. Carl was also the founder of Mock Plumbing & Heating. He was an active volunteer at the VFW, Dormont Boosters and St. Bernard –Minutemen. He also donated his time weekly at the VA Hospital until 2014. An avid gardener, lover of Parma Sausage and storyteller, Carl was always willing to lend a helping hand wherever and whenever needed. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends welcome at 2630 West Liberty Ave., Dormont, 412-531-4000 on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday June 16, 2016, at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Church, 311 Washington Rd., Mt.
