Dear Priscilla, Rick and family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your husband and father. I'm sorry that I couldn't be there to personally convey them but I'm out of town with family for the holiday. I have wonderful memories of the times at your house, Carl and Priscilla's gracious hospitality and just plain good times. Please know that I'm thinking of you all.

I worked at Carl Smith's in Presque Isle and Carl always had a smile on his face whenever he came to the building. I never heard him say an angry word and it always amazed me to see how much he loved his family. May you all enjoy your wonderful memories and always know how much he loved you. The whole world could see it in his eyes. My thoughts and prayers are with you. He will be greatly missed.
